This book was created with the intention of focusing primarily on photographs of animals rather than information, and is therefore composed mainly of images rather than text. It features many animal species from Portugal that have been photographed to date, and is organized by animal type, the similarities between them, and their connections in the food chain. It begins with insects, followed by amphibians, reptiles, birds, and ends with mammals.
